There was something very special about seeing my DVDs for sale at this show, alongside all the others. It made me feel that I had really accomplished something for my products to be in Europe at this trade fair. I had graduated in 1994 with a degree in video production (after 5 different schools and many different subject matters), and now I was seeing proof that my education had paid off. I had managed to do something continuous from start to finish, soup to nuts. I was always told that I would be a failure, and perhaps going into the sex industry and becoming successful was my way of rebelling against that constant negative symphony known as the 'parental units in stereo'. |
